Accountant (Salalah)

We are a growing company in Salalah and we are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. The successful candidate will also oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

This is an urgent position, so the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines is crucial.

• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Manage all accounts payable and receivable functions
• Prepare annual budgets and monitor financial performance
• Review and reconcile bank statements
• Process payroll accurately and on time
• Monitor cash flow and perform periodic cash audits
• Handle tax-related matters such as VAT returns, income tax filings, etc.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Oversee the preparation of financial reports for management review

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Proficient in MS Office suite (especially Excel) and accounting software systems
• Attention to detail with excellent numerical skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
