Librarian Assistant

Our library in Salalah is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Librarian Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for books and organizing information. This position is suitable for men who are looking for a part-time job without experience. As the job does not provide accommodation, it is best suited for candidates with their own visa. As a Librarian Assistant, you will be responsible for cataloging and shelving books, assisting patrons with finding materials, and managing the library's circulation system.

The salary for this position is 1700$ per month. This job is open to English-speaking Pakistani nationals who are interested in gaining experience in the field of library science.

• Catalog books using our library's system
• Assist patrons with finding materials and answering questions
• Shelve books according to the library's organizational system
• Manage the circulation system by checking out/in materials
• Maintain a neat and organized library space
• Assist with inventory management
• Provide excellent customer service to all patrons

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
• Pakistani nationality preferred
• Must have your own visa to work in Oman
• Excellent organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
