Contract Librarian in Salalah
We are hiring a contract librarian to work at our library in Salalah, Oman. As a librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the library's collection of books, periodicals, and other materials. Your main duties will include cataloging and classifying materials, answering reference questions, and assisting patrons with finding resources.
To be successful in this role, you must have prior experience working as a librarian and possess strong organizational and customer service skills. You should also have knowledge of library management systems and be able to work independently.
This is a contract position with a salary of 1100$ per month. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract. As this is a short-term position, we are looking for someone who can start immediately.
Requirements- - Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- - Minimum 2 years of experience as a librarian
- - Proficiency in using library management systems
- - Strong organizational skills
- - Excellent customer service skills
- - Ability to work independently
- - Fluency in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- - Must be able to start immediately
