We are seeking a motivated and reliable Assistant Baker to join our team in Salalah, Oman. As an Assistant Baker, you will assist the head baker in preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods. No prior experience or English language proficiency is required for this job. This is a great opportunity for an Indian national looking to start a career in baking.
The salary for this position is 1300$ per month.
- Assist the head baker in preparing doughs and batters according to recipes
- Roll, cut, and shape dough to create various breads and pastries
- Bake items in ovens or other equipment according to established baking times
- Decorate cakes and pastries with icing or other toppings as needed
- Follow proper food safety and hygiene standards while handling ingredients and equipment
- Clean work area, equipment, and tools after each shift
- Indian national preferred
- No prior experience required
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards
- Good time management skills
