Physician - Psychiatrist

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Schedule: 10:00PM - 6:30AM x 5
Term: 22-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate
: $250 - $255/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Psychiatrist for a temporary assignment in Salem, Massachusetts. These positions are 22-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

• Provide psychiatric care for pediatric inpatient patients ages 3-18 in an inpatient practice setting
• Round on inpatient floor with an average daily census of 10 patients
• Manage and treat common patient diagnoses including suicide, depression, PTSD, personality disorder, and defiance
• Collaborate with support staff including 1 MD and 2 NPs
• Utilize Epic EMR/charting system for documentation
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Maintain valid Massachusetts state license
• Maintain active DEA registration
• Maintain required board certifications
• Adhere to a Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm schedule covering specified date ranges
• Maintain a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
• Complete credentialing requirements within the required 90-day timeframe
