Salem Academy Charter School (SACS) seeks committed, aspiring teachers to work as substitutes on a per diem basis. SACS seeks individuals who are committed to the mission and vision of the school. Individuals are hired based on their relevant experience and demonstration of responsibility and flexibility. Specifically, we are looking for staff members with:
- Belief in the mission and vision of the school
- Experience working with a diverse student body
- Experience teaching or working with young people
- Excitement about integrating academics with service work
- Commitment to standards-based teaching and learning
- Relentless commitment to raising academic achievement of all students
- Interest in working collaboratively to improve instruction for all students
