Adjunct Faculty , Accounting and Finance, Finance, AY

The Bertolon School of Business at Salem State University invites applications for adjunct professors with an interest in and experience teaching Finance. We are looking for candidates who can teach students in the following courses:
Principles of Finance, Corporate Finance, Investments, International Finance, Financial Institutional Management, Entrepreneurial Finance, Real Estate, Personal Finance, Financial Planning, Insurance, Estate Planning, and other similar classes. Specific teaching assignments will depend upon the expertise of the candidate and the needs of the program. We are looking for candidates who can teach both on campus and online.

Teach and advise students. Work collaboratively with other faculty. Engage in activities to promote the success of our students, academic excellence, and faculty development.

• Master's degree in Business (MBA), Finance (MSF), or Law (JD) from an AACSB-accredited school
• Relevant professional certification(s) such as CFA, CFP, CPA, or a law license
• Minimum of 5 years of current professional experience in the finance field
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to speak and write English clearly
• Demonstrated commitment to collaboration and collegiality

• College-level teaching experience
• Experience teaching a multicultural population
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching, supervision, and advising
• Appropriate terminal degree
• Strength and potential for excellence and leadership in community engagement and university services

This is an onsite position in Salem, MA with some on-campus, in-person responsibilities.

Employment is contingent upon a completed background and CORI check satisfactory to the university.
