Be the problem‑solver on the floor, stay ahead of issues, shape automation, lead continuous improvement, build & refine processes, and collaborate across the organization.

• Provide hands‑on engineering support to manufacturing and service teams.
• Troubleshoot issues involving equipment, tooling, automation, materials, and processes.
• Lead root‑cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions that stick.
• Analyze production data to spot trends, recurring issues and risks before they become problems.
• Develop permanent, scalable solutions that stabilize and improve production.

• Track key metrics—downtime, scrap, yield, rework—to understand process health.
• Use data and cross‑functional insights to anticipate constraints or failures.
• Build control plans, standard work and monitoring systems that prevent repeat issues.
• Maintain clear documentation of issues, actions and lessons learned.

• Program, modify and support automation systems including PLCs, robotics, and automated assembly / test equipment.
• Support equipment setup, optimisation, troubleshooting and validation.
• Partner with maintenance and vendors to boost automation reliability.
• Identify new automation opportunities that improve safety, throughput and cost.

• Develop and execute improvement strategies aligned with business goals.
• Drive Lean, Six‑Sigma and CI initiatives focused on efficiency, quality and cost reduction.
• Identify opportunities for automation, simplification and standardisation.
• Strengthen long‑term manufacturing capability, scalability, and resilience.

• Design, develop and optimise manufacturing processes, work instructions, routings and tooling.
• Ensure processes are robust, repeatable and capable of meeting quality and production targets.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) through DFM/DFA reviews and process validation.
• Keep manufacturing documentation accurate and up to date.

• Work closely with operations, quality, supply chain, maintenance and engineering.
• Support quality investigations, CAPA and audit activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality systems and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or related engineering field.
• 3–10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or production support.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a track record of implementing lasting corrective actions.
• Experience with automation systems (PLC, robotics, automated assembly / test equipment).
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, controls and continuous improvement.
• Ability to analyse data, identify trends and anticipate operational risks.
• Excellent problem‑solving, organisational and communication skills.

• Experience in high‑mix or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Lean, Six‑Sigma or similar CI certification.
• Project management or automation implementation experience.
