Position SummaryAs a Patient Care Assistant I, you will work under licensed personnel to assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating) and vital sign monitoring. The role requires hands‑on care and effective communication with patients and families.
Responsibilities- Perform vital signs, weight/height, and intake/output measurements accurately and within the established timeframe.
- Complete all required documentation in the medical record.
- Interact positively with patients and their families.
- Aid patients with hygiene tasks, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
- Assist patients with turning, repositioning in bed, and moving to a wheelchair.
- Listen to health concerns raised by patients and report them to nurses.
Education – High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred). Experience in lieu of a degree not accepted.
Licenses and Credentials – Basic Life Support (BLS Certification) preferred. Certified Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic (Massachusetts), Nursing Assistant (LNA – New Hampshire) also preferred.
Experience – 1–2 years in patient or elder care (preferred).

- Proficient computer skills for electronic medical records.
