Client Services Representative​/MLA

• Answer, identify, and transfer telephone calls with proper etiquette and documentation.
• Assist patients, clinicians, and colleges with inquiries, providing accurate resolution.
• Document all client calls in Beaker and assign to the appropriate department.
• Monitor follow‑up list per laboratory protocol.
• Provide clerical support, including faxing, calling, printing nursing home labels and requisitions, and entering safety events into RL system.
• Cover specimen processing and home care outreach as needed.
• Utilize Faxcom to index and file electronically received lab orders and scan/transcribe paper orders into Epic.

• Required: High School diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1‑2 years in a laboratory, health care, or customer service setting.

• Preferred: Hands‑on laboratory experience, including familiarity with procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Medical Lab Assistant, Phlebotomist, or Client Services Representative background.
• Medical Terminology certification.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent processes and diverse personalities.
