Introduction

The position requires a minimum of two days in the office per week. However, based on operational needs, additional in‑office days may be required. The role is full‑time and reports directly to the Director of Operations.

Position Overview

The Operations Project Manager (PM) is a key member of the Operations Team, supporting the Director of Operations, Chief Operations Officer, and other leadership in developing and implementing projects to improve operations, clinical performance, quality of care, and compliance while advancing organizational goals related to healthcare delivery.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Works closely with the COO, CMO, and Director of Operations to understand strategic priorities.
  • Creates long‑ and short‑term project plans for the full scope of responsibilities of the Operations Team.
  • Supports project teams, work groups, and other leaders to move key initiatives forward, including preparing meeting materials and following up on deliverables.
  • Serves as a point of contact for the Operations Team when multiple departments are assigned to the same project to ensure synergy.
  • Participates in project‑related research and information gathering.
  • Supports creation and/or maintenance of documentation, including workflows, training documents, and reporting.
  • Assesses data availability and collects data related to assigned projects.
  • Identifies obstacles and works with the Project Lead to diagnose and determine solutions.
  • Builds and fosters relationships across the organization to enhance collaboration and communication.
  • Conducts the annual compliance risk assessment with subject matter experts and business owners.
  • Co‑creates the annual compliance workplan and assists the Director of Compliance in monitoring activities.
  • Co‑leads the compliance committee and communicates with committee members.
  • Adheres to HIPAA rules, maintaining strict patient confidentiality.
  • Attends required trainings and meets with committees as needed.
Requirements Required

Skills and Abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in health management/administration, business, or another healthcare‑related field is required. Five (5) years of experience in Healthcare/Public Health can substitute for a degree.
  • Minimum of three (3) years in general administration or project coordination, preferably with at least one (1) year in a healthcare or public health setting.
