Position SummarySalem Hospital, an affiliate of Mass General Brigham, is committed to supporting patient care, research, teaching, and service to the community. This position is part of the Emergency Department (ED) team and will provide adult and pediatric emergency care in a Level III trauma center that offers advanced services, including a dedicated behavioral health space and a new patient care model.
ResponsibilitiesAs an ED RN, you will manage all aspects of the nursing process and deliver patient- and family-centered care. You will request and use governing and administrative resources, technological and support systems, and multidisciplinary clinical experts to manage and deliver quality, cost‑effective care. You will engage in open discussions with leadership, provide feedback on workflow or standard work changes, and participate in ongoing education to deliver evidence‑based practice.
Qualifications- 2 years of Acute Care RN experience preferred; ED experience preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- Valid/Current RN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- BLS required; ACLS preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 36 hours per week; 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.; every third weekend and every other holiday.
