Outpatient Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehab. Brief Unit
Description:
We are an outpatient Day Program that provides education and exercise programs to cardiac and pulmonary patients. We offer a multidisciplinary program with RN’s, RD’s, Exercise Physiologists and PT’s. Years of Experience
Required:
Minimum of two years in medical/surgical nursing experience and two years of recent intensive cardiac nursing care experience (other intensive nursing experience will be considered). Cardiac risk factor intervention and exercise prescription and intervention. Skill Sets

Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Clinician to Patient Ratio:
Each group is assigned 2 professionals with a ratio of 1:5. Patient Population:
Adults 25 to 90 years of age. Cardiac Rehab sees patients with recent cardiovascular events or diagnosis (MI, stent, CABG, Valve repair/replacement, transplant, HF, stable angina). Pulmonary Rehab sees patients with COPD, s/p COVID and other lung diseases. Census:
Varies based on group attendance. EMR (Charting System): EPIC and a separate telemetry system (LSI). Floating

We are a Day program open from 6:45am - 5:30pm. Certification
Required:
Active Massachusetts RN License. NCC Cardiac Vascular Nursing Certification preferred. AHA BLS & ACLS.

-MGB-31195. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
