Overview

Per Diem Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) position at Salem Hospital, Mass General Brigham. Provide anesthesia coverage for daytime, weeknight, and weekend shifts. Competitive hourly rate: $200/hr weekdays, $215/hr weekends.

• Deliver anesthesia services to all patients within the organization.
• Conduct pre‑operative assessments and develop anesthesia plans.
• Administer general and regional anesthesia, ensuring patient safety.
• Monitor life support functions during anesthesia and interpret physiologic responses.
• Document anesthetic course in the EMR and keep the operating room team informed.
• Participate in drug audits and coordinate with the pharmacy for drug disposition.
• Provide post‑operative care until recovery area hand‑off.

• Master’s Degree in Nurse Anesthesia Practice.
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) certification required.
• Mass Registered Nurse preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificates required.
• 0–1 year CRNA experience or new graduate experience preferred.
