  • Facility:
    Level III Trauma Center, 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU
  • Assignment Length: 13-week travel nurse contract (Start: 10/19/2025 – End: 1/17/2026)
  • Hours per Week: 36
  • Shifts:

    Rotating Days/Evenings/Nights & Every Other Weekend (12-hour shifts)
  • Floating:
    Required to Medical/Surgical units as needed
  • Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,880 - $2,020
ICU RN Qualifications
  • Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
  • Minimum 3 years of general ICU nursing experience
  • At least 2 years of continuous MICU (Medical Intensive Care Unit) experience in one location
  • Telemetry competency—must be able to read and interpret tele strips
  • Proven experience caring for high acuity patients (substance abuse/overdose, severe psychiatric conditions, DKA, sepsis, GI bleed, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, renal failure, cardiogenic shock)
  • EPIC EMR experience preferred
ICU Nurse Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill adult patients in a fast-paced ICU environment
  • Float to Medical/Surgical units as needed, managing up to 4-5 patients
  • Monitor and interpret telemetry strips for accurate patient assessment
  • Collaborate with attending physicians and residents available 24/7
  • Maintain precise documentation using EPIC EMR system
  • Comply with all hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards
  • Participate in rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and every other weekend
