American Traveler is hiring an experienced M/S Tele RN for a 36-hour night shift position requiring telemetry strip interpretation skills and at least two years of travel nursing experience.

• 32-bed Ortho/Neuro Med/Surg unit split between two 16-bed sections
• Private unit that also admits general medical overflow patients
• Patient population includes scheduled elective Orthopedic and Neuro/Surg cases, fractures, neuro patients, and medical overflow
• Night shift schedule (7:00 PM-7:30 AM) with every other weekend required
• Night shift positions do not rotate; day shift rotators may work 7a-7p, 11a-11p, or 7p-7a as needed
• Clinician to patient ratio is 1:5 or 1:6 on nights
• Floating required to applicable units when requested
• Uses EPIC EMR charting system

• Active Massachusetts RN license (conditional licenses not accepted)
• AHA BLS required; AHA ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in one location plus 2 years of travel nursing experience required
• Med/Surg RN experience with neuro assessment skills
• Telemetry competency with ability to interpret tele strips
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

• Provide direct patient care for Ortho/Neuro Med/Surg patients including fractures and medical overflow cases
• Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility
• Public transportation or paid public parking only; no validated parking available
