American Traveler is hiring a Medical/Surgical ICU RN for a night shift position requiring 2+ years of continuous MICU experience and telemetry competency.

• 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU within a Level III Trauma Center community hospital
• Patient population includes substance abuse/overdose, psychiatric conditions, DKA, sepsis, GI bleed, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, renal failure, and cardiogenic shock
• Attendings and residents present in the ICU 24 hours a day
• RN to patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1 for high acuity patients, 1:4 or 1:5 when floated to Med/Surg units
• Floating required, primarily to Medical/Surgical units
• Night shift schedule (19:00-07:30) with every other weekend required
• Uses EPIC EMR
• No rotating shifts required

• Active Massachusetts RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 2+ years of continuous adult ICU experience required, preferably in a MICU
• Telemetry competency required, including the ability to read tele strips
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

• Provide critical care nursing for a wide range of adult ICU patients and float to Med/Surg units as needed
• Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility
• Free on-site parking available
