American Traveler is hiring an experienced MICU RN for night shift at a Level III Trauma Center, requiring 2+ years of continuous MICU experience and active MA RN licensure.

• 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU within a Level III Trauma Center
• Cares for adult patients with diagnoses including substance abuse/overdose, severe psychiatric conditions, DKA, sepsis, GI bleed, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, renal failure, and cardiogenic shock
• Attendings and residents present in the ICU 24 hours a day
• RN to patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1 for high acuity patients
• Floating required to Medical/Surgical units with ratios of 1:4 or 1:5
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30 with every other weekend required
• No rotating shifts required
• Uses EPIC EMR charting system
• 13-week assignment

• Active Massachusetts RN license (NO pending licenses accepted)
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 2+ years of continuous adult ICU experience required, preferably in a MICU
• Must be able to read telemetry strips
• Telemetry competency required for floating assignments
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

• Provide critical care nursing to a diverse adult ICU population
• Collaborate with attendings and residents present in the unit around the clock
• Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
• Free on-site parking available
