Travel RN - Telemetry

American Traveler is hiring an experienced M/S Telemetry RN for a nights and every-other-weekend assignment requiring strong cardiac background and active MA licensure.

• Active Massachusetts RN license required, no conditional or pending licenses accepted
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 2+ years of RN experience with a strong cardiac background required
• 2 years of experience working as a traveler required
• Must be able to interpret telemetry strips and perform cardiac drips
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

• 24-bed Medical Cardiology unit setting
• Patient population includes post cath care cases such as PCI, ICD, PPM, and ablation procedures using TR band and femoral approach
• RN to patient ratio of 1:5 days and 1:6 nights
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30 with every other weekend required
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
  
  Uses Epic for charting
• Provide nursing care on a medical cardiology unit, including post cath monitoring and cardiac drip administration
• Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility, with a reduced rate applying
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
