American Traveler is hiring a Medical Telemetry RN for a 36-hour night and every-other-weekend schedule, requiring tele strip interpretation skills and MA RN licensure (conditional accepted).

• 41-bed Medical Telemetry unit focused on Cardiology
• Patient population includes cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, psych, substance use disorder, GU, and GI cases
• Clinician to patient ratios of 1:4-5 days and 1:5-6 evenings/nights
• Shift hours are 19:00-07:30 with every other weekend required
• 36 hours per week, no rotating shifts
• Floating required to applicable units as needed
• Uses Epic EMR for charting
• Free on-site parking available

• Active Massachusetts RN license (Conditional MA RN License accepted)
• AHA BLS certification required
• AHA ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in one location and 2 years of travel nursing experience
• Skilled in cardiac telemetry, cardiac drips, tele strip interpretation, TR bands, and high-flow oxygen administration
• Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry strips

• Provide telemetry monitoring and nursing care for a diverse cardiac and medical patient population
• Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions permitted
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Boston may be considered at a reduced rate
• First-time travelers may be considered depending on experience level
