American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a 36-hour night shift position with every-other-weekend rotation, requiring strong cardiac telemetry skills and an active MA RN license.

• 24-bed Medical Cardiology unit setting
• Patient population includes post-cath care such as PCI, ICD, PPM, and ablation procedures
• Utilizes TR band and femoral approach for cardiac catheterization patients
• RN to patient ratio is 1:5 days and 1:6 nights
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30 with every-other-weekend rotation
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Uses Epic for EMR charting

• Active Massachusetts RN license required (conditional/pending licenses not accepted)
• AHA BLS certification required
• AHA ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience with a strong cardiac background
• Must be able to interpret telemetry strips and perform cardiac drips
• 2 years of experience working as a traveler required

• Provide direct patient care on a medical cardiology telemetry unit including post-cath monitoring
• Monitor telemetry strips and administer cardiac medication drips
• Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates within 60 miles of Boston are accepted at a reduced rate
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
