American Traveler is hiring a Float Pool M/S Telemetry RN for a 36hr/week rotating shift role requiring willingness to float to 8 different units and active MA RN licensure.

• Float pool position covering 8 different Med/Surg Tele units throughout the hospital (Davenport 5, 7, 8, 9, ED, PH6/7, Pingree 4, and Overflow)
• Patient population includes ED border patients, acute mental health unit patients (as medication nurse), and non-vented transfer-ready ICU patients
• Clinician to patient ratio up to 5:1 on days/evenings and up to 6:1 on nights
• Facility bed count of 371 with unit census ranging from 8 to 41 beds
• Uses EPIC EMR charting system
• 36 hours per week with rotating Days/Evenings shifts, including 1 to 3 rotations to Nights per contract
• Every other weekend (EOW) rotation required
• 13-week assignment length

• Active Massachusetts RN license required (no conditional licenses accepted)
• AHA BLS certification required
• AHA ACLS certification preferred
• 2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location required
• 2 years of experience working as a Traveler required
• Telemetry monitoring skills required, including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours
• TR Band experience required
• Must be able to perform cardiac drips and read tele strips
• Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

• Responsible for cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and reading telemetry strips
• Must be willing to float to 8 different Med/Surg Tele units as needed
• Free on-site parking available
• Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility for eligibility, with local rate 5% less than standard rate
