American Traveler is seeking an experienced MICU RN for a night shift/EOW position at a Level III Trauma Center requiring 2+ years of continuous MICU experience and an active MA RN license.

• 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU within a Level III Trauma Center complex community hospital
• Cares for adult patients with diagnoses including substance abuse/overdose, severe psychiatric conditions, DKA, sepsis, GI bleed, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, renal failure, and cardiogenic shock
• Attendings and residents present in the ICU 24 hours/day
• RN to patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1 for high acuity, 1:4 or 1:5 when floated to Med/Surg units
• Floating required, mostly to Medical/Surgical units
• Night shift, 19:00-07:30, with every other weekend required
• No rotating shifts required
• 36 or 48 hour schedule options available
• EPIC EMR used for charting

• Active Massachusetts RN license required (Conditional MA licenses expiring 12/1/26 or later accepted at time of application, but not at time of submission)
• AHA BLS and ACLS certification required
• 2+ years of continuous Adult ICU experience required, preferably in a MICU
• Telemetry competency required, including ability to read telemetry strips
• Primary source license verification required through both NURSYS and BON within 30 days of start

• Provide critical care nursing to a diverse adult ICU population with 24/7 attending and resident coverage
• Free on-site parking available
• Flu vaccination required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Boston are accepted at a reduced rate
• Time keeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
