American Traveler is hiring an Endoscopy RN with GI endoscopy experience and an active MA RN license for a 13-week days contract.
Details- GI/Endoscopy unit with 7 procedure rooms including MAC and conscious sedation procedures
- Includes holding and recovery rooms with 18 PACU bays and 8 procedural rooms
- Diverse patient population with 60-70 procedures performed daily
- Clinician to patient ratio of 1:1 in procedure rooms and 1:2-3 in PACU
- Department open weekdays from 6:30am to 5:30pm with on-call coverage for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Shift options include 7:15am-3:45pm with one rotating 8:00am-4:30pm day, or 7:00am-5:30pm
- Rotating shifts required depending on scheduled hours
- No floating required
- Uses EPIC EMR charting system
- Active Massachusetts RN license required, no conditional or pending licenses accepted
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- SGNA or CBSPD certification strongly preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years of GI/Endoscopy experience in one location required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Traveler required
- Skilled in GI Technician Endoscopy duties including Olympus scope set-up, handling, and reprocessing
- Primary source license verification required through both NURSYS and Board of Nursing within 30 days of start date
- Two professional references required
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume GI/Endoscopy setting including MAC and conscious sedation procedures
- Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of Boston, MA
- Free on-site parking available
- RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
