American Traveler is hiring a Medical ICU RN for night shift with every other weekend requirement, needing 2+ years of continuous MICU experience and an active MA RN license.

• Level III Trauma Center, 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU
• Cares for adult patients with diagnoses including substance abuse/overdose, severe psychiatric conditions, DKA, sepsis, GI bleed, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, renal failure, and cardiogenic shock
• Attendings and residents present in the ICU 24 hours a day
• RN to patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1 for high acuity patients, 1:4 or 1:5 when floated to Med/Surg units
• Floating required, mostly to Medical/Surgical units
• Night shift does not rotate, with every other weekend required
• Uses EPIC EMR
• Free on-site parking available

• Active Massachusetts RN license required, no conditional or pending licenses accepted
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 2+ years of continuous MICU experience required
• Must be able to read telemetry strips
• Telemetry competency required

• Provide critical care nursing to a diverse adult ICU population
• Collaborate with attendings and residents present around the clock
• Flu vaccination required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates within 60 miles of Boston may be considered at a reduced rate
