  • Work with Git and Git Hub using structured branching, pull requests, merges, and release workflows.
  • Maintain clean separation between Development, UAT/Staging, and Production environments.
  • Support PostgreSQL databases, including schema changes, migrations, seed data, and environment-specific databases.
  • Work with cloud/object storage and ensure files are promoted correctly between environments.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and automated build, type-checking, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Review application changes for temporary files, unused code, exposed secrets, configuration issues, and other release risks.
  • Troubleshoot build, deployment, database, authentication, API, and environment-related issues.
  • Help maintain environment configurations and secure handling of application secrets and credentials.
  • Validate releases before they are promoted to UAT or Production.
  • Maintain release notes and technical documentation covering code, database, storage, configuration, and deployment changes.
  • Work closely with developers to resolve issues before releases move forward.
  • Support application development across frontend and backend components when needed.
  • Serve as a backup technical resource for the team’s code, database, infrastructure, and release-management responsibilities.
Required Qualifications

  • Ability to document technical work clearly.
  • Comfortable working in an environment where responsibilities may span multiple technical areas.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

  • Clear communication:
Explains technical issues in plain terms to developers and non-technical teammates, both in writing and verbally.
  • Documentation habits:
Keeps release notes, change logs, and technical notes accurate and up to date as part of the normal workflow.
  • Problem-solving:
