** The Position
** The Engineering Technician supports Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing operations by assisting with process development, testing, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and continuous improvement activities. This position is responsible for equipment maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, collecting and analyzing process data, supporting manufacturing processes, conducting engineering evaluations, and assisting with the implementation of process improvements that enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

The Engineering Technician serves as a liaison between Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams, providing technical support, process documentation, training, and troubleshooting assistance to ensure production objectives are achieved. This role applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks and works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature while recognizing the need for occasional deviation from established practices.

As with all employees, the Engineering Technician will complete hazardous waste and chemical handling training upon hire and actively participate in ongoing environmental, health, and safety training programs.
* For second shift positions, initial onboarding and training will be conducted on first shift.
*** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
*** Support manufacturing operations by conducting engineering tests, process evaluations, and procedural control activities.
* Troubleshoot manufacturing process and equipment issues; identify root causes and partner with Engineering to implement corrective actions.
* Perform preventative maintenance (PM) activities on manufacturing equipment.
* Execute production trials and assist Engineering with process validation, evaluation, and standardization efforts.
* Conduct process control activities, including measurements, testing, and data collection.
* Monitor manufacturing output and support failure analysis investigations.
* Collect, analyze, and document process measurement data to support engineering decisions.
* Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and technical reports.
* Monitor process control charts, maintain material movement spreadsheets, and communicate results to stakeholders.
