• Functions as a representative of the Nutrition Service Department on the nursing units while assisting patients with menu selection.
• Performs a variety of clerical duties to assist in the overall activities of the clinical section of the Food & Nutrition Services Department under the general direction of the Diet Technician/Dietitian.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with patient and hospital personnel.
• Ability to work within scheduled time constraints.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to read and write.
