Part ASSEMBLY! (Photonics

We are GPD, a leading provider of semiconductor manufacturing services. We are currently hiring Small‑Part Assemblers in Salem, NH.

This full‑time, non‑exempt role will be located in Salem, NH and will report to the Director of Operations.

• Complete detailed and precise mechanical assembly of semiconductor assemblies requiring dexterity in handling small tools and parts.
• Mount, align, and perform in‑process testing to ensure final assemblies meet prescribed specifications.
• Create electrical interconnects using gold wire bonding tools.
• Demonstrate the ability to read and work from assembly drawings, verbal instructions, and engineering sketches.
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance with dimensional and electrical specifications and tolerances.
• Work for prolonged periods under stereo zoom microscope.

• Wear complete fab attire for an entire shift and meet all safety and cleanroom requirements (hand hygiene, gowning, gloves, booties, safety glasses, etc.).
• Attention to detail and above‑average hand‑eye coordination.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small components.
• Ability to use microscopes, screwdrivers, tweezers, and other miscellaneous tools.
• Knowledgeable about handling and working with adhesives and epoxies.
• Ability to work independently under general supervision.
• Good communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
• Semiconductor experience and J‑STD‑001 certification is preferred.
• Ability to maintain a high level of quality awareness by adhering to policies and procedures; guarantees parts meet our quality expectations.
• Ability to identify, multi‑task, and resolve multiple priority issues quickly.
• Ability to approach tasks in a detail‑oriented manner.
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.
