CNC Machinist

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (including lathes and 3-axis machining centers).
• Work with mechanical drawings and 3D CAD models to determine material requirements, tools, feeds, and setups.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision instruments (micrometers, gauges, indicators).
• Operate manual machines (Bridgeport, lathes, grinders) as needed.
• Maintain machines through preventative maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate on continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and work within tight tolerances.
• Practical CAD/CAM experience (Mastercam preferred; Fanuc controls a plus).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
