• Learn and interpret technical requirements from Naval customers and assist in implementing engineering solutions
• Participate in product design reviews to ensure compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer specifications
• Collaborate closely with in‑house manufacturing teams and external vendors to support production schedules and resolve design or test issues
• Assist with qualifying new vendors and developing strong working relationships
• Support evaluation and approval of design changes, specifications, and drawing releases
• Develop a working knowledge of Hunt Valve products, processes, and industry requirements
• Create 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings using Solid Works
  , with a strong emphasis on translating models into accurate, production‑ready drawings
• Gain hands‑on experience through time spent in the manufacturing shop environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with teammates, leadership, customers, and vendors
• Working knowledge of 3D CAD software (Solid Works preferred)
• Familiarity with ANSI drawing standards and GD&T (training and mentorship provided)
• High attention to detail when reviewing drawings, creating Bills of Materials (BOMs), and preparing technical documentation
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and seek guidance when needed
• Exposure to non‑destructive testing (NDT), machining, manufacturing, or inspection processes is a plus

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution

• 1‑5 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Recent graduates with relevant internships, co‑ops, or hands‑on project experience are encouraged to apply
