Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary

Full time, Direct hire – Salem, OH. Local client seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with CNC programming background. Must have at least 5 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree; associate or high school diploma candidates must have at least 7 years of experience. Base salary $85,000 – $110,000 per year, 401 K, full benefits and a great team‑oriented work culture.

• CNC program creation for new products utilizing CAD/CAM (Siemens NX preferred).
• CNC program refinement and alterations for efficiency and quality improvement.
• Coordinate, schedule, and serve as liaison between production, maintenance, and contract personnel for installation and start‑up of fabrication equipment and/or process projects.
• Coordinate engineering activities and designs for equipment utilization and optimization.
• Assist in development of preventive maintenance programs for fabrication equipment in conjunction with operations and maintenance staff.
• Support robot to CNC coordination.
• Support measurement of machined product.
• Process improvement activities, including yield improvement and process analysis/root cause for repeat quality concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Working up to 10 hours of overtime per week.
