Storeroom Clerk – SALEM REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER

Position: Full Time Department: Material Management Shift: Days

The primary purpose of your position as Stores Clerk is to perform all duties related to storeroom inventory control and distribution, in accordance with established procedures, and as directed by the Director of Materials Management or the Storeroom Supervisor to assure that a successful, viable department is maintained at all times.

• High school graduate or equivalent (required)
• Good mathematical skills
• Good communication skills
• Some computer experience helpful but not required
• Experience in a hospital environment desired
• Some knowledge of inventory control and distribution preferred
• Licensed driver with a safe driving record
• Ability to push and at times pull heavy loads
• Ability to lift loads up to 75 lbs.
