Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of estimating in HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical construction for multi-family and/or Commercial projects.
• Capable of conceptual estimating and developing total cost packages.
• Proficient in developing order-of-magnitude pricing recaps.
• Stay updated with current market conditions and unit pricing.
• Consistently estimate with the plan to build.
• Proficient with Bluebeam overlay process for changes.
• Familiar with Quote Soft, Microsoft Office, Procore, builder, and other project management platforms.
• Review the Sub change pricing for accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications And Experience

• 5+ years of experience in estimating and quantity take-offs.
• Ability to work autonomously or with trades to develop complete cost estimates.
• Can develop details and metrics associated with costing.
• Ability to cost estimate HVAC, Plumbing, and/or electrical scopes of work.
• Experience using costing software systems.
• Ability to build relationships with trade partners, clients, and consultants.
• Read and interpret construction documents.
• Experience with Assemble, BIM 360, or other Revit model engagement software (preferred).
• Basic Proficiency in English required. Candidates must have a basic understanding of English for safety purposes and to communicate with colleagues, vendors, and contractors on-site effectively. The ability to follow instructions and engage with the team is essential for success in this role.
