Registered Dental Hygienist (Part-Time, 30 Hours/Week)

Location:

Salem, OR

Schedule:

Full and Part-Time – ~30- 40 hours/week

Reports to:

Practice Manager / Lead Dentist

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our multi-location dental practice. This position requires reliable travel between our Aloha, Tigard, Beaverton, and Cedar Hills offices and offers the opportunity to provide high-quality preventive care to approximately 9–10 patients per day in a supportive, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, scaling, root planning, and application of topical fluoride/sealants.
  • Perform and interpret dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including periodontal evaluations and medical history reviews.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, nutrition counseling, and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records in accordance with HIPAA and practice policies.
  • Adhere to OSHA and infection control protocols for a safe treatment environment.
Work Environment & Expectations
  • Serve approximately 9–10 patients per day.
  • Two 20-minute paid breaks per shift.
  • Travel regularly between Aloha, Tigard, Beaverton, and Cedar Hills practice locations.
  • Provide patient-centered care with a focus on efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
  • Current Oregon Registered Dental Hygienist License in good standing.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Proficiency in digital radiography and electronic dental record systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation for travel between practice locations.
