Our orthopedic team operates under an wRVU (Relative Value Unit) model, with a strong focus on maintaining a healthy work/life balance and encouraging innovation. What you ll do:

• Provide comprehensive care for patients requiring hip and knee reconstruction, including inpatient consultations, surgical procedures, and outpatient clinic visits.
• Specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of degenerative joint conditions and musculoskeletal disorders impacting mobility and function.
• Perform a full spectrum of surgical procedures related to total joint replacement, including primary and revision arthroplasty.
• Offer and manage appropriate non-operative treatment options when indicated.
• Develop individualized rehabilitation plans and counsel patients on lifestyle modifications to support recovery and optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care across the continuum.
• Emphasize accurate diagnosis, evidence-based treatment, and clear communication with patients and families.
• Demonstrate stewardship of institutional resources and contribute to the delivery of high-value, sustainable healthcare.
• This role is focused specifically on adult reconstruction of the hip and knee, with opportunities for continued growth and collaboration in a supportive environment.

Background/Expertise:

• Degree of Doctor of Medicine or doctor of osteopathy or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine at an American Committee of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) accredited institution. (are we not considering internationally educated candidates?)
• Successful completion of an ACGME accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency.
• Successful completion of an ACGME accredited Adult Reconstruction fellowship.
• Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Oregon
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery or The American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery
