Auto Store is seeking a
** System Safety and Compliance Specialist
** to join our expanding
** Research & Development (R&D)
** team.
We are looking for someone with a background in product compliance engineering or a related engineering discipline, who is passionate about ensuring products meet global regulatory requirements and safety standards. As part of the Product Compliance team in R&D, your main responsibility will be to ensure our products comply with applicable regulations across all intended markets. You’ll work internationally with an innovative product portfolio and collaborate closely with product developers and external test labs.
This role offers a unique opportunity to grow professionally within a multidisciplinary environment.
You will support product development throughout the entire lifecycle, ensuring regulatory requirements are identified, implemented, and kept up to date. Your work will span across EU, US/Canada, and other international markets, translating regulatory standards into design requirements and following up to ensure compliance is addition to project work, you’ll play a key role in sharing compliance knowledge across the Auto Store organization, supporting teams such as sales and other internal stakeholders within the regulatory field.
Experience with
** Global Market Access
** for machinery and electrical equipment is essential. Familiarity with
** Chemical/Material Compliance

** Key Tasks and Responsibilities
*** Support and advice R&D in applying international standards for product approvals (e.g., CE, NRTL).
* Conduct internal training sessions for product developers and engineers.
* Participate and advice in the development of new products and identify applicable standards (EN, IEC, ISO).
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal processes and compliance guidelines.
* Participate in internal and external testing to verify product compliance.
* Follow up and ensure that regulatory requirements are consistently met.
** Key Qualifications
** We are looking for a candidate with a solid technical foundation and a proactive mindset to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:
* Relevant higher education or equivalent experience in electrical/electronics, machinery, software engineering, or a related technical field.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with product compliance, including a strong understanding of the CE conformity assessment procedure within the EU. Knowledge of compliance procedures in other markets is an advantage.
* Experience with systems for quality management, product development, and procedural follow-up is beneficial.
