Role OverviewThe Pipelines and Pump stations Project Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, and monitoring mid-sized and large water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include leading engineering and process design, project coordination, client relations, and team mentorship.
Responsibilities- Lead engineering/process design, project coordination, and specification writing.
- Establish and maintain client relations, lead marketing and meetings.
- Conduct design sessions, coordinate staffing, and ensure project completion within schedule and budget.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently and oversee QA/QC procedures.
- Mentor less experienced staff and participate in recruitment.
- Serve as client manager within the Oregon region.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in municipal water and wastewater systems planning and design.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Strong technical background in water distribution systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Micro Station, and hydraulic modeling software.
- Project engineering and management experience.
Preferred:
- MS degree.
- Minimum 6 years designing water and wastewater projects.
- Experience with clients in Oregon and/or Washington.
Location:
Portland or Salem, Oregon. Full-time, regular employment. Industry: Water.
