Loan Admin Service Support Supervisor

Come join our amazing team and work a hybrid schedule based out of our Westfield office!

The Loan Admin Service Support Supervisor provides leadership, training and supervision to employees in the Loan Administration Support Department. Oversee and coordinate daily loan servicing activities within assigned team. Prepare and maintain reports and records for processing. Works under general directions with substantial latitude and makes decisions involving the savings and losses to the company and investors. Perform all duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.

The target pay range for this position is $70,000.00 / yr - $75,000.00 / yr plus annual bonus.

What You'll Do
  • Provide leadership, training and supervision to employees in the Loan Administration Support Department.
  • Oversee and coordinate daily loan servicing activities within assigned team. Prepare and maintain reports and records for processing.
  • Works under general directions with substantial latitude and makes decisions involving the savings and losses to the company and investors.
  • Manage the workflow and assignment of work activities to assigned units within the department; follow up for completion to ensure that service standards are consistently met.
  • Assist in the management of processing all aspects of borrower incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Monitor team(s) assignments to ensure deadlines are met in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Accurately assess strengths and development needs of employees including timely and specific feedback and performance management.
  • Provide leadership to assigned team(s), including hiring and training employees. Demonstrate persistence and overcome obstacles, which allow the team to achieve challenging goals that are set by the supervisor.
  • Handle and resolve escalated requests from customers or third parties and assist the Loan Administration Support teams in identifying solutions.
  • Develop, update, and implement effective policies and procedures to ensure timely, accurate, cost effective and excellent service to our customers and in accordance with state and federal requirements.
  • Identify and analyze escalated problems and provide guidance to team members for resolution.
  • Lead special projects, conduct the research, provide information and identify possible solutions.
Mortgage Servicing experience required

Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, writing, and sound judgement skills

Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently.

Advanced negotiation skills and knowledge of ongoing regulatory issues preferred

Ability to understand opposing points of view on highly complex issues and to negotiate and integrate different viewpoints

Ability to make decisions that have significant impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside the immediate work unit

Ability to organize and prioritize work schedules of others on a short and long-term basis

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and to record, balance, and check results for accuracy

Ability to compose materials, such as detailed reports, work-related manuals, publications of limited scope or impact, and / or to make presentations outside the immediate work area

What You'll Need

Two (2) to Four (4) plus years related Mortgage servicing experience and / or financial industry, with a minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience required.
