Works under the direct supervision of a pharmacist to fill prescriptions, deliver orders and to perform other pharmacy service duties as required.
Qualifications- Certifications:
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) (NHA) - National Health career Association (NHA) or PTCB; within 2yr - Licensed Pharmacy Technician within 60 days of license application - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Education:
, - Work Experience:
Retail pharmacy
- Enters patient information accurately into pharmacy computer system, including, but not limited to, patient s address, patient s phone number, patient s allergies and patient s date of birth.
- Enters correct medication information, including, but not limited to, medications, strength, route, number of refills and physician name.
- Prioritize work to input stat and waiting prescriptions in order of importance.
- Maintains order entry error rate
