Seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. This role provides physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Implement selected components of patient interventions (treatment), obtain data related to the interventions provided, and make modifications either to progress the patient as directed or to ensure patient/client safety and comfort
  • Provide quality physical therapy services, including implementation of the treatment plan established by the patient’s physical therapist
  • Produce accurate, relevant, and timely documentation based on the physical therapist’s prescribed course of treatment
  • Communicate the patient’s treatment progression, changes of treatment, and recommended medical follow‑up when necessary to team members, as appropriate
  • Educate and counsel patients regarding issues related to treatment and goal(s), safety risks, and/or other issues within scope of practice
  • Participate in team reassessments and discharge planning
  • Other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • AA or higher degree as Physical Therapist Assistant from an institution accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education
  • Current State Physical Therapist Assistant License
  • Current CPR certification
