We are seeking a Construction Project Manager 1 to lead and coordinate construction and remodel projects across the agency. As a Construction Project Manager 1, you will oversee projects from planning through completion, managing budgets, schedules, and contract administration. You will monitor contractor performance, ensure compliance with all requirements, and provide thorough inspection services to maintain quality and safety standards. Collaboration will be key, as you will work closely with agency staff, contractors, architects, and engineers to deliver successful projects.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Architecture, Planning, or Engineering AND one year experience related to the class series concept; OR
• An Associate Degree (or comparable college coursework) in Architectural, Engineering or Construction technology; AND 30 months experience related to the class series concept; OR
• Four years of experience related to the class series concept.

Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Oregon Project Management Associate Certification (OPMA), or other related certification will substitute for 1 year of the qualifying experience.

  Driving is an essential function of this position. A valid driver license and an acceptable driving record are required. We will conduct pre‑employment driving record checks on the selected candidate.

• Experience in Microsoft Office applications to develop Gantt charts and project requirements listings.
