Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with at least two years of recent OR experience and Epic charting proficiency.

• Position is in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Day shifts with variable start times (07:00, 09:00, 11:00) working 4x10 hour shifts per week
• Night call shifts during weekdays (8 hours, 23:00-07:00) and scheduled/call weekend shifts (10-12 hours)
• 5-6 shifts of call and/or weekend scheduled shifts per 6 week schedule
• Epic EMR usage is required
• Travelers may float to a nearby sister hospital
• No mile radius restrictions; local candidates are accepted at the same rates
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Strict RTO policy; all time off requests must be submitted up front and cannot be changed after submission
• Must be off staff for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
• Weekend and on-call shift coverage required as part of the rotating schedule

• Active OR RN license must be in hand at time of application
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required;
  Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred
• A minimum of two years of recent Operating Room RN experience is required
• Epic EMR charting experience is mandatory
• COVID vaccination required with no exemptions allowed
