Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with an active Oregon license, BLS certification, and Epic charting experience for a 13-week assignment.
Responsibilities- Position based in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
- Primary schedule consists of 3x12 hour day shifts, with variable shift times including 07:00-17:30 or 11:00-23:30
- Night shifts available, scheduled as 3x12s from 19:00-07:30
- Includes weekday night call shifts (8 hours: 23:00-07:00) and weekend scheduled/call shifts (12 hours)
- Up to 6 shifts of call and/or weekend scheduled shifts per 6-week schedule
- Floating may be required to a nearby sister hospital
- Epic EMR is used and experience is required
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
- Strict RTO policy—requested time off must be declared at submission and cannot be changed after client review
- Job duties include circulating and scrubbing in a variety of surgical procedures as an OR RN
- Travel pairs are accepted if noted with submission
- Personal protective equipment and hospital-required attire must be worn as directed
- A 13-week contract is guaranteed, with extension opportunities possibly available
- Active Oregon RN license, no pending status accepted
- Current BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
- Minimum of 2 years recent OR RN experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- COVID vaccination required with no exemptions permitted
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates who were previously employed must be gone for 6 months before returning as a traveler
