Registered Nurse (RN) Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, high-quality care to patients in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). The RN will care for patients who require closer monitoring and more complex nursing care than a general medical-surgical unit.

• Provide direct nursing care to IMCU patients based on individual care plans and clinical needs.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, oxygen levels, and changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and accurately.
• Assess patients and promptly report changes in condition to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and nursing records.
• Follow infection control, patient safety, and hospital policies and procedures.

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred/required based on facility requirements.
• Previous acute care, IMCU, step-down, telemetry, or critical care experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong clinical, communication, and patient-care skills.
