American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 1 year of MS/Tele experience and tele strip interpretation skills.

• Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital with Level II Trauma Center status
• RN to patient ratio of 1:4
• CNA to patient ratio of 1:6-13 on days and 1:10-13 on nights
• Day shift schedule, 4x12 hours from 7:00 to 19:30
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within scope, including to an affiliated facility
• Uses Epic for charting

• Active RN license (Oregon license status must be disclosed), pending license accepted
• Current BLS certification through AHA
• Minimum 1 year of experience within the last 3 years in MS/Tele
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting telemetry strips
• Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Proficiency in O2 protocol and non-invasive airway management
• Experience with peripheral line care and management
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE use
• Experience with rapid response team activation
• Computerized documentation experience

• Royal blue scrub color required
• RTO requests exceeding 2 weeks require approval
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
