Position:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Medical Surgical/Telemetry

Shift: Day - 4x12-hour (07:00 - 19:30)

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in a fast-paced medical/surgical and telemetry unit. This position requires flexibility as the clinician will float to various units as needed.

• Provide direct patient care including daily activities of living (ADLs) and support to patients, primarily adults and geriatrics.
• Assist with obtaining vital signs and reporting any abnormal findings to nursing staff.
• Ensure safe patient transfers and mobilization.
• Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team including physicians, physical therapists, and nursing staff.
• Perform duties related to patient care, including bathing, feeding, and turning/repositioning patients.

• Minimum of 12 months of experience as a CNA in an acute care setting within the past three years.
• Experience in a large facility with a minimum of 200 beds preferred.
• Active Oregon CNA license required at the time of application.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Experience with Epic electronic health records system is a mandatory requirement.

This is a short-term acute care facility, recognized as a Magnet, teaching hospital, and Level II Trauma Center, offering comprehensive patient care in a supportive environment.

Shifts are 12 hours with a patient-to-CNA ratio of 1:10-14. Weekend shifts are required on an every-other-weekend basis.

• Travelers may be required to float within the facility or to nearby affiliated facilities.
• Refusal to float to set locations may result in contract cancellation.
• Previous experience in high-volume medical/surgical settings is preferred.
