JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIESYou must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record that meets company standards. You must also have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery, and possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain that may include multi‑story buildings.

GENERAL JOB DUTIES FOR ALL STORE TEAM MEMBERS- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Orientation and training are provided on the job.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS- Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders over the phone and in person.
- Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly (may use a calculator).
- Provide correct monetary change.
- Use verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders; coordinate eye‑hand‑fingers for rapid, accurate movements.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
- Navigate maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.
- Navigate adverse terrain (multi‑story buildings, private homes, delivery sites) while carrying product.
- Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
- In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F in cooler to over 90°F in some work areas.
- Sudden changes in temperature inside and outside.
- Food odors, cornmeal dust, and fumes.
- Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
- Hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F or higher.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
- Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product, driving, and couponing.
- Clear hearing for telephone use and near/mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
- Depth perception.
- Differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
- Far vision and night vision for driving.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS StandingMost tasks are performed from a standing position. Walking surfaces include ceramic tile “bricks” with linoleum in some food process areas. Height of work surfaces is between 36” and 48”.
WalkingFor short distances for short durations. Delivery personnel must travel between the store and vehicle, and from vehicle to the customer’s location.
SittingPaperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
LiftingBulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more and are unloaded using a hand truck. Deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
CarryingCarry large cans (3 lb, 7 oz) from workstation to storage shelves. Carry pizza sauce (30 lb) from storage to front of store. Trays of pizza dough (≈12 lb per tray) are carried three at a time over short distances.
