To protect and enhance Oregon's fish and wildlife and their habitats for use and enjoyment by present and future generations.
We are hiring for one full‑time, permanent position located in La Grande, Oregon.
What You Will Do- Operate and oversee the operation of fish transportation vehicles, tankers, and fish life support systems to release or transfer fish in Northeast Oregon.
- Transport various sizes and species of fish from state or federal hatcheries to lakes, streams, or hatchery ponds at specific timing to maximize angler success and adult salmon and steelhead returns and fish growth.
- Obtain a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) within 6 months of hire.
- Two (2) years of experience operating heavy equipment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Commercial vehicle operation and maintenance experience
- Accurate and thorough reflection of your skills, experience, and education is required.
