Job Duties

Floor staff responsibilities at the store include operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and facility daily. Orientation and training are provided on the job.

Delivery personnel must deliver product by car to customers’ doors, deliver flyers and door hangers, navigate adverse terrain, and drive within a designated delivery area. A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards are required.

• Accurate addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; quick calculation using a calculator.
• Ability to handle monetary change correctly.
• Verbal, written, and telephone communication to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly.
• Typing skills for entry of orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record for delivery roles.

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
• In-store temperatures range from 36 °F in cooler to 90 °F and above in some work areas.
• Exposure to cornmeal dust, hot surfaces/tools up to 500 °F, and sharp edges.
• Physical demands include standing, walking short distances, lifting up to 50 lbs, carrying, pushing, climbing stairs, stooping, and squatting.
